Up to my ears...
in 310. And the annoying thing is that the project itself REALLY isn't that difficult (I don't think). What makes it difficult is how rushed we are. But oh well.
Saw a couple "meh" movies recently. Freddie got "One Missed Call," a Japanese horror film which delivered on a few scares, but overall was just a WAY too blatant rip-off of "The Ring" (American or Japanese version--take your pick). Also, I saw "Crank" and found it to be a mixed experience. Sure, it was pretty ballsy and exciting, and had plenty of "oh WHOAAA!!!" moments, but it was too jacked-up on its own adrenaline for me, even if that was the point. Just because something is new and different doesn't mean I have to like it. Granted, I probably would have been more willing to like "Crank" if I was a little more awake, since I was dead tired before I even stepped into the theater.
Also finished up Season Three of "Arrested Development." Overall I think it's better than Season Two, but not as good as Season One. However it's depressing to look at the DVD case with its two meager discs instead of three, and see how rushed the writers were to wrap up all their plotlines so quickly. The last four episodes or so REALLY suffer for it. The death of that show is one of the greater entertainment-related injustices of the past several years.
AND I've been watching Max's Season One of Venture Bros. They can be pretty stupid, but they're fun too.
Anyways, enough procrastination for now.
No wait...did I mention I was at the Emmys again? That was pretty cool.
OK...done.
